In 2023, Ranbir Kapoor hit the jackpot at the box office with “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” delighting fans with his performance. During promotions for the film on The Kapil Sharma Show, Ranbir, accompanied by co-star Anubhav Singh Bassi, took a trip down memory lane. He fondly reminisced about a mischievous moment from his school days when he sneaked out of a boring classroom session to assist a friend who had accidentally dropped his spectacles.
Ranbir Kapoor reminisced, “I always sat at the back bench. I was quite mischievous as a kid. Once, while sneaking out of the classroom, I noticed my principal standing there. Back in our school days, getting scolded or punished was quite common, unlike today where you can’t even get angry at someone. He grabbed me by the ear, gave me a slap in the corridor, held my ear, turned me around, and brought me back.”
After the stern encounter, the principal inquired why Ranbir was outside the classroom. Ranbir explained that he had stepped out to retrieve his friend’s spectacles. Poor RK indeed!
