Honor Magic5 Hits Geekbench Before Launch

Honor will show off its new line of smartphones, the Honor Magic5 series, on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress 2023. The company is putting the finishing touches on its plans to show the world its newest flagships. Honor will also use this event to make the Honor Magic V available to people everywhere. The company has been telling its loyal customers to “Go Beyond the Galaxy” to find the “true magic” in the new Honor smartphones.

A new Geekbench listing has been found online, and everyone is very excited as they wait for Honor to officially release its Magic5 and Magic5 Pro flagship phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The good thing about the story is that the Geekbench listing confirmed that the non-Pro model’s main specs were correct. Let’s get started.

Geekbench Listing Confirms These Honor Magic5 Specs

The listing says that the Honor PGT-AN00 will be the name of the next Magic5 series “plain” model. The device will also have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Many people expect it to have 12 GB of memory. At the listing, this phone got a score of 1,411 on the single-core test and 4,584 on the multi-core test. Alright, let’s take a look:

It seems likely that the current version of Magic UI will run on top of Android 13, which is said to come pre-installed on the device. Earlier rumors said that the Magic5 would have four 12MP cameras that could zoom up to 5x optically and 100x digitally. One of the rumors is that the camera will be round and have a digital/hybrid zoom of up to 100x.

There is a chance that the series will have OLED screens with a high refresh rate. Also, the phone will be able to charge quickly at 66W. On the other hand, the Pro version could go over 100W, just like its predecessor. Honor will show off the Magic5 and Magic5 Pro for the first time on February 27 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
